Every Osasbazaar Silver Product now comes with an Anti Tarnish Strip. These strips are imported from the USA and made using a patented technology. They keep your silver safe from tarnishing.
What is Tarnish?
Tarnish is a thin layer of corrosion which makes your silver item look yellow first and slowly turns it to black in color.
Silver reacts with hydrogen sulfide in the air, causing it to tarnish over a period of time. Tarnish is easy to clean, but it does spoil the beauty of silver.
Silver tarnishes faster in areas with high humidity and air pollution. Things like wool, fossil fuels, rubber bands, latex, paints, perfume, body lotion, bleach, etc. speed up tarnishing.
How to use Anti-Tarnish Strip protect your silver?
Simply insert the Anti Tarnish Strips into jewelry boxes, pouches, or zip-lock bags and let them do the work!
These anti tarnish strips are a perfectly safe way to protect silver, from tarnish and corrosion during shipping and storage, without scratching your precious silver item. They will not harm any metals or gemstones even when in direct contact.
These strips reacts with and permanently neutralizes the gases that cause unsightly tarnish. Store your jewelry, silver and other precious metals in a dry container. Ensure that the items to be stored are clean and place them together with a Anti Tarnish Strip. These Anti Tarnish Strips are 1 inch x 1 inch in length and width. These strips do not emit gas like charcoal paper tabs or emit any gases or coatings like other poly tabs.
These Anti Tarnish Strips should provide protection for your valuables for up to 12+ months of continuous use depending on how well sealed the container is. It is advised that one 1 inch x 1 inch strip should be, under normal conditions, sufficient to provide protection for the inside of a container that measures 30 cubic inches (to calculate cubic inches, multiply length x width x depth).
